A New Imam-Hatip Religious High School to be built by Galip Ozturk for Bayrampasa City

Galip Ozturk, Chairman of the Metro Holding and the founder-president of the Coacher Federation of Turkey (TOFED) who is also known by the charity services he had done throughout Turkey shows his dedication to charity work with his another project.

The new Anadolu Imam Hatip High School which was one of the projects of the Association of Knowledge under the Bayrampasa Foundation of the Municipality of Bayrampaşa, will be built by Coacher Federation of Turkey (TOFED), with support of the founder-president Galip Ozturk. The school will be named as, “Bayrampasa Galip Ozturk Anadolu Imam Hatip High School”

The City Mayor Atilla Aydiner, TOFED President Mehmet Erdogan, TOFED Secretary General Mevlut Ilgin, Metro Holding Board Member Erdem Yucel, President of the Bayrampasa Foundation Cemil Yildiz, President of the Association of Knowledge Hamza Akbulut, Bayrampasa Education Board Director Kenan Kirali and many other guests attended the signing ceremony organized on November 16, at the center of the Bayrampasa Municipality building.

The Mayor of the Bayrampasa who said that attendants have just witnessed such a beneficial charity work said, “Since there has not been an imam-hatip high school here, the people of Bayrampasa yearned for such school for years. Students who wanted to study at an imam-hatip high school had to go to the other surrounding cities like Gaziosmanpasa, Fatih, Eyup etc. But when this school is finished, they would study at their new school in the city of Bayrampasa. Mr. Ozturk  whom i spoke to regarding this noble charity work had said, “We would roll up our sleeves for this, Mr. President!, this is a public service for people, we are always in for such social projects”. Besides, we can see Mr. Ozturk’s charity service everywhere in Turkey. The school will proudly bear his name which will live forever. I congratulate everyone attended to the ceremony; you just witnessed such a noble generosity. I also say that i will not forget the happiness I experienced  today for all my life” in his speech.

TOFED President Mehmet Erdogan who said that founder-president Galip Ozturk had a target for building at least 100 schools in Turkey said, “I am honoured to be with you at this ceremony for the building project of Bayrampsa Galip Ozturk Anadolu Imam Hatip High School. TOFED, a non-profit association of the passenger transport by road sector which is the most preferred mode of transportation, was established on January 4^th 2005 by Mr. Galip Ozturk. As a public figure our founder Mr. Galip Ozturk became widely known not only by his business investments but also his generous character and his dedication to charity works. So far, he opened 20 schools on his own, well suited for modern education. We are very honoured to attend to the signing ceremony on behalf of our founder president Mr. Galip Ozturk.”

The singing reception is ended after Bayrampasa Mufti’s prayers.
